I began photographing families in high school.  I knew this is what I wanted to do since I was a little girl.  My passion will always be photography. 

 

Another passion I had was children.  Once upon in another life, I aspired to be a teacher.  That quickly changed, as I realized I am far too silly and will probably never grow up myself.  Something else captured me, though. I was a fantastic friend to kids.  I was a great guide, warmhearted and I understood a kids imagination. 

My goal is to make sure they are laughing genuinely; if it isn't me that's making them laugh, it's their comfort with me that does.

The love for photography has made me who I am today.  I am so cultivated by humans. By life. By all of the little things.  All because of a lens.

​

It is such a pleasure to experience families getting together and make memories. Spending quality time, laughing,  playing outside, and socializing as a family without interruption. For a moment their world is mine. I am so honored I get to help them be together in the moment.

I feel that I am a photographer with a vision. I truly see something spectacular happen in people. Whether it's brand new lovers who can't stop starring at each other, siblings laughing and playing together, or a father walking his baby girl down the isle. Those are the shots I aspire to get. The natural laughing smiles, the look in his eyes when he knows he found the right one, or the fact that family IS everything and you want everyone to see it in the photo.

I want people to look at your pictures and feel like they were there the moment you took the shot, feel the experience you got to have, and say:

"This is something I have never seen done before.  These are beautiful."
